I Guess I Will Never Know

Can you hear the wind whistling spirit?
Patting heads of glistening shoot
With shards that gust, crackling
It asks no directions, just pieces fragile love

Waiting in the foyer of my mind
I consume the thoughts that constantly remind me
Of the footsteps I heard after we made love

If you came to my door
I would open it
If you came to my door
I would always quote your favourite verse
If you came to my door
I would try to read between the lines
And if you came through my door
I would ask you why does the song remain the same?
