Death

I am a dead man
In the literal sense
I have seen all my days
I am now a past tense.
I only have memories
No thoughts anymore,
If I could think
I'd think death was a bore,
But that is a memory
Of what I was told
When I visited my uncle,
I was seven years old.
He told me that death
Just meant a hole in the ground
And that was what I believed
Until mine came around.
After I died
A great voice just said,
"If you only believed,
  in something nicer instead."
