To Know Tomorrow

Many times
I have longed to see tomorrow
Through window glass unmarked and clear
Justice circling the corner
Injustice rising from the sewer
Innocence in victory
Lost of ignorance

Often times
I have longed to understand tomorrow
Shaped within the histories of our ancestors
Forming as the days collide
Dreams conquering the authentic
Realism becoming artificial

All Times
I want to accept that tomorrow
Travels a path of well worn footsteps
Opens unlatched gates to beginnings
Promises completed ambitions and deeper strength
While evading restrictive prophecy and predestination
