Just for a laugh

I walk to the bus, people cower in fright
Children run inside at the very sight
But this shouldn't throw me off my pace,
I know it'll happen on the way back tonight.

My esteem is still high, so it can't rise,
But even the sun is bad for the eyes
I guess I should take it with dignity & grace,
But I look at a girl and she runs away and cries.

Mt. Ruapehu rumbles and roars,
White Island's active to its shores,
Krakatoa vanished without a trace,
I wish the same of my zits and cold sores.
